"Going / To go" x "Comparing / To compare": Qual a diferença
I don't know why but I really really fell like there ain't no difference between the sentences below:
- I've decided going home before the dawn had come;
- I've decided to go home before the dawn had come;
- And that's why I've decided comparing pearls with other gems;
- And that's why I've decided to compare pearls with other gems;
- I'll try getting my homework done;
- I'll try to get my homework done.
I mean, even though it may be not the most appropriated constructions, is it acceptable?
Best regards!
