Please friends,
I know we shouldnt translate everything, and in fact I do not quite mean that. But, I need at least remember what we use in portuguese in the followed case:
"I take exception to that".
Also, may I use put off as: repelido. Example: "... to show that mosquitos are attracted to, or put off by, certain smells."
