Walk on eggshells - Tradução em português

Hey guys, thi is my first topic i'm openning about smth...
So... I was watching the TVserie "Vampire Diaries" and noticed something i've never heard.
Damon said.
"And... I'm glad that you are "walking on eggshells" for me."
And then i thought... Walking on Eggshells? When we walk on eggshells, as everyone usually do that huh? =P, so... whe we walk on eggshells we have to take care to didn't brake them and cut ourselves. We get worried about that.
Worry about = walking on eggshells ?

I was watching (past) the TVserie "Vampire Diaries" and noticed something I'd never heard (past perfect).
O past perfect é necessário no segundo trecho da frase pq vc já estava no tempo passado e a ação nunca tinha acontecido até aquele momento - agora já aconteceu, vc já ouviu a expressão.
"And... I'm glad that you are "walking on eggshells" for me."
Estou feliz de saber que você está sendo tão cuidadoso por minha causa.
