"Without" x "With no": Qual a diferença

Hey, people. This is my first post and thread around here (I would introduce myself, but I didn't find any thread about it) and I'd like to get this question answered, please. Sometimes I see "without" and "with no", I don't know if there's a difference between them.

This example: "A man with no past"

Could I use "A man without past"?
