Como dizer "Fora da caridade não existe salvação" em inglês

Hi dears, its my first post at EE forum, today I have oral test in my english class and I´m making a definition of "happiness". I made my personal definition of happiness and I would like to finish it with the phrase: "Fora da caridade não existe salvação".

I tryed to translate with my words, but I guess that it doesn´t sounds good.
"Out of charity don´t have salvation."

What do you think?
