End Run Around - Tradução em português
Hello everyone,
Been reading NYT and suddenly this sentence came out to my calm reading:
"Republicans reacted angrily, saying the president had overstepped his legal bounds to do an end run around Congress".
Been trying to seek the meaning of it out, too. Didn't find too much, only that this expression came from football (their football)
Could anybody help me out and show me the loophole for me to solve this issue?
