Achar que está fazendo alguma coisa legal (algumas vezes por "peer pressure), geralmente fazendo algo que um grupo faz. No primeiro caso, em certos contextos "tirar onda" (que pode ser "legal" [cool] ou não, como já explicitei)

Achar que está fazendo o maior sucesso (mas sendo apenas um(a) "Maria vai com as outras" por acompanhar algum modismo de um grupo.

Somehow I think might have an intersection between our definitions. Since in a certain way if one thinks "ela é legal" or something like that doing something, he/she thinks "ela está fazendo o maior sucesso/tirar onda fazendo ou dizendo aquilo."
